A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, Thursday morning has ordered the Department of State Service, DSS, to within 48 hours release detained Managing Director of Capital Oil and Gas, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah.

                                           
 
    Ubah lawyers and supporters, defy heavy down pour in court Thursda Trial judge, Justice Mohammed in a 100 page judgment, ordered the DSS to release Ubah, if it fails to file a charge against him. Embattled Ubah was arrested by DSS over an alleged oil deal with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC. The court Thursday, also berated the DSS for lying to the court that Ubah was arrested in Abuja, while from every available evidence, he was arrested in Lagos and flown to Abuja, where he has been detained some weeks.                                   Members of staff and students of the Osun State University, Ipetu Ijesa, were reportedly harassed and battered by Airforce personnel on Tuesday .  According to multiple reports, the Airforce men, who have allegedly been terrorising students of the University for a long time, arrived the campus Tuesday and beat up people on sight. Manchester attack: Man describes how he held dying 8 year old girl in his arms as she called out for her mum

                                    This is a very heartbreaking story of a little 8 year old girl, Saffie Rose Roussos, who attended the Ariana Grande concert with her mum and her 20 something year old sister but got separated from them after the bomb blast, at the Manchester Arena on Monday. This little girl was struck by the explosion and all she wanted while she laid down dying, was her mummy. A first responder, Paul Reid who ran towards the sounds of explosions at Manchester Arena told how he cradled dying Saffie Rose Roussos in his arms. Paul, 43, ran back into the venue after he heard the bomb go off and was met with the horrific sight of bodies strewn across the foyer after suicide bomber Salman Abedi detonated his rucksack IED.
