Parents, Indigenes Take To The Streets This Morning To Protest The Long Closure Of LAUTECH



Collision of parents of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and Ogbomoso indigenes have taken to the streets to protest the long shut down of the institution.
Placards carrying parents, especially those of Ogbomoso, Oyo State indigenes stormed the Senate building of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology earlier today to pour out grievances over the long closure of the university.
They demanded the Oyo State government to take over the university calling for the evacuation of all students from Osun State origin.
“Oyo State own LAUTECH, we demand the takeover of the institution, since the Osun State Government has failed it woefully.
We are angry over the unnecessary shut down of LAUTECH. We urge the vice chancellor not to sell out Lautech to Osun” one of the protesters said.
